The Night Rating course consists of 5 hours flying and consists of:

1. Local area familiarisation.
2. Night navigation operations.
3. Night circuit operations.
4. Various runway lighting configurations.
5. 5 Full stop landings and departures, whilst flying Solo under supervision.

There is no written exam.
